Elderly lady knocked to the ground by car in Tavistock supermarket car park

POLICE in Tavistock are appealing for witnesses after an elderly lady was knocked to the ground by a car in Morrisons Car Park on Sunday (March 12).

At approximately 10.15am an 85-year-old female was knocked to the ground by a reversing silver estate car. The make and model of the car was not obtained, however it is believed that it was parked in the first parents and child parking bay nearest to the shop entrance.

The female suffered minor injuries and was left shaken. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information, is asked to contact police on 101 and ask for PC 2785 Duggan-Swift.
