By Contributor in Charity

JOIN the team at Devon Information Advice and Support and help to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

The charity provides support and advice for young people and for parents of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

It is looking for volunteers from all over Devon, but particularly in Tiverton and Okehampton, to join its team of dedicated and friendly staff and volunteers.

The charity provides training, regular supervision and lots of ways to develop your skills and experience around SEND support.

The next training session for new volunteers is on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 in Exeter. The training session is free with lunch provided and travel expenses will be covered.

If you would like to know more or to book a place on the training course email Amy Carey-Jones (volunteer co-ordinator) on amy.carey-jones@devon.gov.uk or call 01392 383080.
