The Archers actress taking to the stage at the Tavistock Wharf

By Contributor in Arts

FANS of The Archers are in for a fun evening next Thursday (April 13) when Sunny Ormonde, the actress who has played the outrageous wayward Lilian Bellamy since 2000, takes to the stage to chat, share anecdotes and fun with the audience at what is a fully seated event.

Her antics have kept the nation gripped and entertained, and whether it be riding around Ambridge on a Harley Davidson, drinking the Bull and Cider shed dry with Eddie Grundy, absconding to Costa Rica with her beloved and very wicked Tiger or recklessly kicking off her sling backs and leaping into bed with Tiger’s brother Paul.

In her show at The Wharf, Sunny will fill you in on all the behind the scenes stories about the world’s longest running soap opera, including pieces from her long and established acting career.

There will also be a question and answer session with the audience about the making of The Archers now in its 64th year, for example: Where did her laugh come from? Did Victoria Wood really pull a pint in the Bull and how big are Tom’s sausages?

There will also be a prize for the best Archers related question!

And lastly, you really don’t need to be a fan of The Archers to enjoy this show, it promises something for everyone.
