ROADFORD LAKE Lakeside offers something for all ages from the stunning views to the interactive visitors centre or the adjoining children’s play area; as well as the perfect starting point to explore the extensive walks and cycle routes of Roadford Lake Country Park. The café and function suite with our Outdoor + Active Centre just over the lake is a relaxing location that all the family can enjoy. The Lakeside café and gift shop, open daily, takes advantage of the stunning views overlooking Roadford Lake. Once inside the licensed facility you can enjoy our delicious range of light lunches, homemade cakes and locally made ice cream in a friendly and relaxed environment. Enjoy a two course meal from the specials board for only £6.95, available Monday to Friday. From Friday 6 April until September Lakeside Café shall be opening every Friday and Saturday until 9.30pm. The evening Bistro will feature a new menu which will include some delicious specials. Lakeside also houses a well stocked shop offering a selection of gifts for all the family. The popular Carvery is served every Sunday and includes a choice of locally produced meats and vegetables. Booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Next to the café, the Function Suite offers three modern rooms, catering for civil ceremonies, wedding receptions, functions and conferences, overlooking the stunning lakeside setting.
