Royal celebrations from days gone by

WHILE Okehampton will be staging one of its biggest ever parties this weekend, the town has a history of celebrating Royal occasions in a grand manner, as these fascinating old photos demonstrate clearly.
The photos have kindly been offered for use in the Times by the town’s Museum of Dartmoor Life and local historians Mike and Hilary Wreford.
