West Ham loanee Hall make Daggers pay

Wednesday, 14 September 2011

DAGENHAM & Redbridge slipped to their third consecutive League Two defeat following their 1-0 defeat at home to Oxford United on Tuesday night.
Loanee Robert Hall, who joined the U’s from West Ham on Monday, fired the winner just before half-time.
Following their 3-1 defeat at Rotherham United on Saturday, John Still was hoping his side would bounce back.
But 17-year-old Hall had other ideas, rounding off a well-worked Oxford move to score four minutes before half-time.
Oxford could have doubled their advantage twice, with Alfie Potter coming close on both occasions.
But the Daggers did have chances to equalise with Mark Arber missing with a volley, and U’s keeper Ryan Clarke saving Sam Williams’ header.
