OKEHAMPTON town centre was buzzing on Saturday for the fifth annual food and music festival organised on behalf of Okehampton and District Chamber of Trade.
Despite a damp start to the day, hundreds of people turned out to enjoy non-stop musical entertainment demonstrating a wide spectrum of local talent .
A total of 27 stalls offered a wonderful variety of street food from the exotic to the familiar as well as the opportunity to purchase a range of Devon produce, from cheese to chocolates and cider to wine and even vodka.
Wonderfully colourful banners throughout the town added to the festive feel.
One musician emailed the organisers to say: ‘Well done for a great event in Okehampton. It was a lovely day all round and it was great to see the old town buzzing.’
The organisers said they were delighted to receive so many compliments from visitors, shop keepers and participants alike and expressed thanks to everybody who in whatever way contributed to such a great day.
