TWO people were taken to hospital yesterday after a car drove through a shop window in the centre of Okehampton.
Emergency services were called to the Fulfords estate agents at the junction of Market Street and School Way at 2.45pm.
The two occupants of the Peugeot people carrier that went through the window had to be freed from the car by the fire service.
A fire service spokesman said: ‘One private car was in collision with a shop window. The glass has now been removed and made safe. Two occupants were released from the vehicle and attended to by ambulance personnel, small tools used and the area was safe.’
The car was towed from the scene at 4.50pm.
