WITH just a few weeks to go until the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, the local Macmillan team is urging people from the Okehampton area to take part.

In 2012, World's Biggest Coffee Morning fundraisers in Devon and Cornwall raised £317,000 for local people fighting cancer.

Local fundraising manager, Sian Harris said: 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning is a great way to do some fundraising and bring friends, family and colleagues together.

'We are urging everyone to make time to help people with cancer by holding a coffee morning at work, at home and in their community.'
