A VILLAGE walk and cream tea was held in Brentor Village Hall on Saturday, June 27 for Triangle (Tavistock Cancer Support Group). We all enjoyed our afternoon. Thanks to everyone who came along, friends and family. Help was also given by Brentor Village Hall ladies. We raised £284.50, which will be passed on. Thank you everyone for your help and support. Kath Sydenham Mary Tavy ON behalf of all those involved with The Tavistock Branch of Muscular Dystrophy UK, I would like to say a big thank you to the people of the Tavistock area for their generosity and support during our Muscular Dystrophy house-to-house collection week, June 20 to 27, collections at Morrison's during June 25 to 27 and flag day in the town on June 27. An amazing £1,675.10 was raised. A special 'thank you' to all those who gave their time to collect for us, to Tavistock Methodist Church, West Devon Borough Council, Tavistock Town Council, the farmer's market, Morrisons and The Co-operative for their assistance and support.
