A GALLERY in Okehampton has supported the fundraising efforts of a man raising money for Children's Hospice South West.

Staff and customers of The Arts Gallery in Red Lion Yard have been supporting the fundraising of Mitchell Sneddon, who recently completed the Royal Parks Half-Marathon in London to raise money for CHSW.

He has managed to raise £1,000 with donations from the gallery, colleague on the Maersk Oil Janice Platform in the North Sea, family, and friends. A further £1,000 has also been donated by the charity committee of the Janice Platform, taken from a portion of the proceeds of their New Year and Christmas raffle.
