THERE was no shortage of partying in West Devon last Friday as celebrations were held to commemorate the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

One of the fun parties was at Northlew where the village square was festooned with red, white and blue and commemorative mugs were presented to children by the parish council.
