PIANIST and vocalist Peter Gill will visit Chagford later this month, to pay tribute to the wit and songwriting skills of Noel Coward.
Coward wrote songs, plays, novels, poems and his autobiography. He also painted and even worked for the British propaganda office in Paris during the Second World War.
His humorous plays like Blythe Spirit, Private Lives and Hay Fever have survived the passage of time, and Mr Gill will bring many of his songs to life.
The evening takes place on Friday, March 14 at 8pm in the Jubilee Hall. Tickets cost £11.50 from Fowlers Estate Agents in Chagford, by calling 01647 433595.
