ORGANISERS of the Cheriton Bishop Horticultural Society’s Spring Show have said that visitors will amazed by the number of varieties of daffodils this year.
The show is being staged in the village hall on Saturday, April 1 at 2.30pm and organisers have said that this year is set to be ‘the best yet’.
They also said that there was still ample time for anyone to place their entries into any of the classes in the show, with species of tulips in pots being just one opportunity example.
There are a range of classes for the arrangement of seasonal flowers, for jars of marmalade and cakes of any recipe decorated for Easter or spring. Judging will take place for the cake decoration only.
The show, as always, invites participation by children and this year they are invited to enter a decorated hard-boiled egg.
