TICKETS are now available for the 34th Dartmoor Folk Festival in South Zeal.
The event is attracting top artists from the folk world, including Belshazzars Feast, The Jackie Oates Band, Tyde and The Watch.
Other well-known folk artists include Will Noble and John Cocking, Andy Clarke and Steve Tyler, Issy and David Emeney and Unstrung Heroes.
The local area will be represented at the event, with celebrated local artists The Dartmoor Pixie Band, Tony Beard, Dave Wills and Rob Pudner.
The festival will include the Dartmoor Step Dance and Broom Dance Championships, a Dartmoor Fayre, craft displays, dances, a music hall, ceilidh, as well as music, song and dance workshops.Morris and dance teams will be performing throughout the three day event. A folk service, a Sunday ramble on the moor and pub sessions are also available.
The exciting Children's Festival is also growing, with circus skills, storytelling, arts, crafts and music activities for youngsters at the event.
The festival was founded by local musician, the late Bob Cann BEM, and is continued by an association of local enthusiasts, and friends and family.
