OKEHAMPTON Primary School's PTFA is holding a professional firework display on November 8 to celebrate bonfire night.

The display is open to the public, and offers an alternative to the Sticklepath Fireshow, which has been cancelled for 2013.

Tickets are on sale at Okehampton Newsagents, Donald's Menswear and Okehampton Gun Shop.

Any remaining tickets will be sold on the gate.

Gates to the primary school will open at 6pm, and there will be hot food and drink to enjoy.

All profits will go towards funding new play equipment for the nursery and foundation unit.
