ARGYLE came flying out of the block to take the lead in the third minute. A fine run from Josh down the left saw him cross to Ben Bickle who slotted home.
Okehampton played the better football but against the run of play Heavitree equalised, when their striker pounced on a loose ball in the box. From that moment, play became very disjointed, but still the brighter moments came from Argyle who were always looking to play football. Aaron had little to do in goal as the defensive three of Lewis, Ryan and Conor, playing his first full game in defence, easily kept Heavitree at bay. Ben Barkwill played superbly in midfield.
After the break Argyle dominated possession but Heavitree looked dangerous on the break.
Midway through the half Heavitree caught Argyle on a break from a throw-in to take the lead.
Argyle stepped up the pace and they ran Heavitree ragged. Ben Bickle came more in to the game and Tallan and Foggy gave good width on the flanks as they produced some fine flowing moves. A Conor effort was fired in following a corner but this was disallowed for offside. However Argyle were rewarded when they equalised four minutes from the end. Josh and Ross caused havoc in the home defence and it was Ross who applied the finishing touch.
