THIS was Argyle's last game of the season and they were determined to finish in style. Straight from the kick-off Okehampton dominated, creating lots of good chances and they took the lead when Tallan Burns ran onto a through ball by Ollie Crimmins and lobbed it over the keeper.
Argyle made it 2-0 with a great team goal, starting with Ollie, who passed to Ross Voaden who forwarded it to Ryan Gross who slotted the ball through to Tallan Burns to score his second.
Sidbury started to put pressure on and from a corner a superb reaction save from Aaron Dearing kept the score at 2 nil at half time.
Argyle scored their third at the start of the second half when Ross Voaden beat four Sidbury players before passing the ball to Tallan who laid a great ball back to Ryan who smashed the ball into the back of the net from outside the area.
The defence of Ben Barkwill, Ben Jarvis, Lewis Taylor, Nathan Andrew and Jamie Mallett dealt with everything that Sidbury threw at them and looked a composed unit playing good football from the back which led to the fourth goal when Tallan Burns whipped the ball in and Ben Bickle got in front of his defender and hammered the ball into the back of the net.
This was an excellent team performance with every player giving 100% ending the season on a high. Players of the match Tallan Burns and Ryan Gross.
