A MAN has been arrested in connection with the wounding of a 36-year-old in Okehampton town centre.
The victim was seriously injured in the incident, which took place in Fore Street between 1am and 1.15am on Monday. The man, an Okehampton resident, was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
A 23-year-old man, also from Okehampton, was arrested on Monday on suspicion of wounding with intent. Pending further investigation, he was released on police bail until February 4, when he will be required to re-attend Exeter Police Station.
