CAMERAS from a national television show were focussed on Okehampton last Thursday. A crew from Talkback Thames, a television production company, were filming in the centre of the town for an edition of the BBC 2's 'Escape to the Country.'

The series helps prospective buyers find their dream home in the country. A crew had already filmed a property outside Okehampton and was looking at various locations around the town to show 'the best of Okehampton and the area'. No details were given off when the programme is expected to be shown.
