THERE'S an opportunity to dress up in pink at a charity dinner in Okehampton this month, to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.

The event takes place at the Oke Corral Tex Mex restaurant at the King's Arms on Thursday, October 28, when diners may choose from a two-course meal for £11 or three courses for £16, with 10% of the proceeds being donated to the charity. In addition, the £1 from every bottle of rosé wine sold on the night will be added to the charity total, and 50p from every cocktail.

Diners can also enjoy a charity raffle.

Organiser Emma Bass is hoping to beat the total she raised for the charity last October at this year's special night.

'Last year we held a slave auction and wet T-shirt competition, when we raised about £200,' said Emma.
