THE Oke Stroke Club, a recently formed group for stroke survivors, is holding a special meeting on April 12 to give information about potential benefits for stroke victims.
The meeting, at 11am at Castle Ham Lodge on Castle Road, will have a visit from a representative of the benefits agency, who will provide information on benefits that may be available to those affected.
The group provides help and information for stroke victims and their carers, along with time to talk to others in a similar situation who can provide mutual support.
Anyone aged 50 and over can attend the group, which is one of several new groups taking place at Castle Ham Lodge set up by Time for Life.
