A FREE seminar into the benefits of social media for local businesses is to be held at the Okehampton Business Centre.

Being led by representatives from http://www.newtricks.co">www.newtricks.co, the talk will touch on how best to use online platforms and communities for marketing. These include sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Linked-In.

There will be a demonstration of real-world examples of how social media has worked for businesses and will discuss the pitfalls to avoid when setting up such marketing avenues.

The seminar runs from 5.30pm to 7pm on Thursday November 24. Registration, tea and coffee opens at 5pm, with a networking session from 7pm.
