PLENTY of laughs are guaranteed for the audience at the latest production by the Hatherleigh Players.

The amateur dramatics group will be performing the Alan Bennett play, 'Habeas Corpus', today (Thursday, February 24), Friday 25, and Saturday 26 at Hatherleigh Community Centre, starting at 7.30pm.

The comedy classic concerns Hove GP Arthur Wicksteed and his pursuit of a nubile patient, Felicity Rumpers. Wicksteed's wife, Muriel, meanwhile, lusts after the charming head of the BMA, Sir Percy Shorter, Wicksteed's old rival.
