THE Bishop of Plymouth is to open the church fete at Meeth this Saturday (August 13) at 2pm.

Bishop Nick McKinnel was Rector at Meeth and he and his wife will be warmly welcomed by many who knew them.

The day starts with a family dog show at 11am with show and fun classes.

There will be an attractive variety of stalls and games of skill and chance for all ages — all the fun of a traditional village fete.

Teas from 3pm and ample free parking.
