OKEHAMPTON Band competed in the 91st West of England Bandsmen's Festival at Molinnis Park in Bugle on Saturday June 20 with great success.

For the fourth year in a row, the band won the Deportment Class, which was again judged by Gareth Roberts OBE.  Bands are judged on choice of music, marching skills and presentation.

The band then went on to win the Fourth Section, playing Devon Fantasy composed by Eric Ball. The adjudicator for this section was Christopher Bond.
