A LOCAL drama company that helps adults with learning disabilities is looking for more volunteers, including someone to handle their publicity.

The Get Changed Theatre Company, based in Okehampton, is a not-for-profit organisation offering adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to build life skills, confidence and self-esteem by developing and participating in performing arts.

They address topical disability issues in an accessible and inspirational way through drama.

By promoting social inclusion, participants can build their confidence and realise their full potential.

The organisation is currently looking for volunteers who have the skills to write press releases, manage show ticket sales, compose funding applications and possibly manage a website for the group.

There are also volunteering opportunities to assist participants at weekly drama sessions.
