AFTER almost two decades of dedicated service, Dr Jean Shields has retired from North Tawton’s Cancer Research UK fundraising committee.

Dr Shields moved to North Tawton 30 years ago and continued with the fundraising she and her husband David had been involved with during their time in Okehampton.

At the annual coffee and wine evening Dr Shields thanked the committee for their hard work over the years and wished them well for the years to come.
