ACCLAIMED author and historian Dr Ian Mortimer will be the guest speaker at Okehampton U3A's January get together.

Under the theme of 'Centuries of Change', Dr Mortimer will discuss some of the most significant events affecting British history between 1001 and 2000. The meeting starts at 2.30pm in the Garden Room of the Ockment Centre on Thursday, January 29.
