OKEHAMPTON and District Chamber of Trade's annual meeting takes place tonight (Thursday).

The meeting takes place at 7.30pm at Okehampton Rugby Club. As well as inviting existing members, the group will warmly welcome prospective new members to attend the meeting and meet the town's new promotions manager.

The meeting gives members and prospective members the chance to listen to the group's proposals, and share their own ideas and views.

After the meeting there will be a short talk of the workings of the rugby club, followed by the opportunity to network as the bar will be open throughout the evening.

Tickets for the chamber's annual dinner on January 26 will be available on the night.
