A WEST Devon pub is celebrating after being presented with a prestigious industry award. The Duke of York in Iddesleigh was last month named Pub of the Year 2008 by the North Devon branch of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale. At the end of June owners Pippa Hutchinson and Jamie Stuart and staff at the Duke of York were delighted to hear that their pub was the winner. Pam Waller, one of the bar staff, said that the pub had won the award a few times in the past. She said: 'We have very nice ales and our beers are kept in good condition — we are well-known for our beers and food.' Picture by James Bird
