FIVE top chefs will be preparing a wonderful charity dinner at The Bedford Hotel this weekend to raise money for the Dartmoor Rescue Group.

MasterChef: The Professionals 2012 winner Anton Piotrowski is joining Mike Palmer, executive chef at the Bedford, along with three other top Devon chefs, for the hotel’s Take Five Chefs charity dinner held in aid of the Dartmoor Rescue Group on Sunday, November 8 and organised in conjunction with the Devon Chef’s Club.

Guests are invited to enjoy five delicious courses prepared by five of the South West’s leading chefs. For every place booked, £25 will be donated to the Dartmoor Rescue Group.

Joining Mr Palmer will be Matt Peryer from Lewtrenchard Manor, Ben Palmer from the Greedy Goose, Anton Piotrowski from the Treby Arms and Springer Spaniel, and the Bedford’s head chef, Raoul Ketelaars. Guests will also have the chance to win some tempting prizes during a charity raffle.

Mike Palmer said: ‘This is going to be a fantastic charity event for an exceptionally worthy cause and we’re expecting tickets to sell out fast. We hope to raise a lot of money for the Dartmoor Rescue Group, which provides such a vital service within the Dartmoor National Park.

‘The Take Five Chefs dinner is going to be a real showcase of local talent, and we’re delighted to have some of the top chefs in Devon joining us at The Bedford Hotel.’

The charity dinner has been organised in conjunction with the Devon Chef’s Club, and guests can expect a glass of bubbly on arrival, followed by a five course dinner prepared by some of the region’s finest chefs using locally sourced seasonal produce.
