A CHIMNEY caught fire in a property in South Hill, near Chagford at around 7.48pm on Sunday.

A crew from Chagford found a woodburner within the property and the chimney well alight. They asked for assistance from another crew from Moretonhampstead.

The fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet and chimney gear, and crews removed the woodburner to ensure it was fully out.
