On a sunny Saturday afternoon the 23-strong choir, under director of music Pauline Savage, firstly sang 'The Heavens are Telling' from Haydn's oratorio The Creation, followed by A Gaelic Blessing by John Rutter.
Pianist for both pieces was Christine Cleverdon.
In awarding the choir a distinction for an excellent performance technically and artistically, adjudicator Melanie Armistead highlighted the choir's full tone, blend of voices and rich harmonies.
She also commented on the choir's understanding of the style of music being sung.
On behalf of the choir, Pauline was awarded the certificate of distinction and the winners' shield.
