SINGERS from the West Devon Folk Choir had a long trip to one of their recent concerts, at a festival in Edinburgh.

The choir, organised by Wren Music, performed at the Ceilidh Cultural Festival. They were joined by two other Wren Music choirs, Voices in Common from Exeter, and the Folk Choir of Torbay, singing at two venues at the festival.

Led by Matt Norman, they sang a number of traditional West Country songs.

They also joined with Scottish folk choir Sangstream to share songs from north and south of the border.

The West Devon Folk Choir meets at Okehampton College on Tuesdays at 7pm during term time, starting on April 17. For more information call Wren Music on 01837 53754.
