ALL Saints Parish Church will do its bit this weekend to raise funds for the Children's Society.
The church will hold a Christingle celebration at the church on Sunday, December 2 to help raise money for the charity.
Last year, around 6,000 Christingle services took place across the country, raising more than £1.2-million for vulnerable children, many of whom are facing family conflict, bullying, abuse or neglect.
People can also help to make the Christingles on Saturday, December 1 at the church's Christmas fayre in All Saints Church Hall on Market Street from 9.30am to noon.
The service is designed to bring together families and friends to celebrate the Christian story. All are welcome to the service.
