CHILDREN at Okehampton Primary School with great co-ordination, PE skills and those with a flair for drama and performance were among those lucky enough to take part in a recent circus workshop.

The children learnt to improve their co-ordination while learning activities such as juggling and plate spinning. After performing to an audience the children were awarded with a certificate in recognition of their achievement.

The workshop was part of a programme of events for gifted and talented primary school children called the Socrates Society which aims to provide challenging thinking opportunities for gifted and talented children both from Okehampton Primary School and from schools across the county.
