SWIMMERS in Okehampton were left without the use of a pool after Parklands Leisure Centre suffered technical difficulties last week.
The gym and sports hall at the leisure centre was shut for an hour on Wednesday January 7, while the swimming pool was closed from 9am until 4pm due to technical problems.
Swimmers from in and around the area were left dry and disappointed, after travelling to Okehampton to use its facilities. The leisure centre is now up and running as normal, with all facilities open for residents and visitors to enjoy.
