THE Kentisbeare Junior Cycling Club (KJCC) cycled from their mid Devon village to Okehampton to watch the Tour of Britain. 

The club, which has more than 50 members both children and parents, and is sponsored by Stags Estate Agents, asked the local Stags office if they could leave their bikes there while they went to watch the race.

The KJCC enjoyed the race from the town of Okehampton, seeing the riders come through the town and the other events laid on, particularly the BMX display.

Mark Berry, manager of the office, was delighted to offer bike storage and refreshments to the young riders and was pleased that the mid club picked Okehampton from which to watch the tour.
