CHILDREN from Madworthy and Eworthy have been busy raising money for ill children in the south west, while having fun producing their own play.
The young people from Madworthy and Eworthy Sunday Morning Club presented Angela Hammond, representing the Children's Hospice South West, with a cheque for £280 from the proceeds of their Christmas play, 'C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S Spells Christmas'.
The play — based on the nativity — was for the second year running performed after Christmas due to the seasonal weather.
