CAKES, bric-a-brac and a raffle will be on offer at a coffee morning at Old Schools in Hatherleigh on Saturday September 3.

The event is being organised by Alison Dennis, Michelle Arnold and Lyn Strawbridge to raise funds for the North Okes under 14s' rugby team. The North Tawton and Okehampton rugby clubs run their youth teams together, from under 7s through to under 16s. The teams play matches on Sunday mornings and hold training sessions throughout the week.

The under 14s team has been together since they were under 7s, and the three women are raising funds to send the tight-knit team on a rugby tour.

The coffee morning takes place between 10am and 12.30pm. All are welcome.
