Exeter School firsts 10

SHEBBEAR College's senior rugby team celebrated a strong start to this years season with a decisive victory over Exeter School.

On a hot day both teams endeavored to play running rugby, and the Shebbear pack dominated throughout while the three quarters passed and ran with speed and assertion. This was a promising first outing for Shebbear, the scrum, lineout and defensive lines being particularly effective.

Captain James Adams scored two tries, Nick Hocking, Dan Furse and Lucas Bland scored one each and Tim Ames kicked two conversions.

This was a great start to the season that bodes well for the future.
