A FIRE crew from North Tawton was called to a collision at Culm Cross, North Tawton on Friday, July 26.

The collision involved a lorry and a motorcycle and although no-one was trapped, one person was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.

Four diesel tanks from the lorry had spilled approximately 100 litres of fuel onto the roadway. Crews stemmed the flow of diesel and contained the run-off, using soil and an environmental spill kit.
