This month autumn begins to make itself felt. The days are shorter and cooler, bringing on the colours associated with this time of year.
Russets, browns, burnt orange and dusky reds are beginning to replace the bright kaleidoscope of colours seen during the summer months.
The garden is shifting down a gear and calmness is descending after the hustle and bustle of the summer holidays. Rosemoor is a magical place to be on a sunny autumn day but still has a peaceful charm if the weather is not so kind.
For an additional treat Rosemoor are having a three-day craft fair from Friday September 10 until Sunday September 12. There will be an abundance of stalls, featuring a range of crafts from the talent of the West Country.
The emphasis of the craft fair is on the beautiful and unusual, with all products for sale made by local craftsmen and women.
