FUNDS?to help families fleeing conflict in Syria will be raised at two autumn concerts by Moor Harmony.

The group will present two concerts of 'The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace' by Karl Jenkins. It was originally commissioned by the Royal Armouries in 2000 to mark the end of a millennium scarred by war and to look forward with hope of a peaceful future.

The performance will be in aid of ShelterBox, and in particular their Syria Refugee Appeal. More than two million refugees have now fled the violence in the country and over four million remain displaced within the country.

The group will perform on Saturday, November 2 at the Ockment Centre and on Saturday, November 9 at St Andrew's Church in South Tawton. Both performances start at 7.30pm.
