THE final fundraising totals are in for this year's Cream Tea Run, with the charity motorcycle run raising more than £1,000.

Cheques for £503.31 were presented to representatives from Hospiscare and the National Association for Bikers with a Disability at the Rockhen's Coop recently.

The event, in its fifth year, was held during the first weekend in June at Bracken Tor House.

On the first night revellers and riders enjoyed a relaxing night of food and live music headlined by the band 4-2 The Bar.

The fun continued the following day with the charity motorcycle ride, with bikers meeting at the London Inn, setting off on a route over some of the best roads in Devon, with several stops to enjoy the scenery.

That evening, the party continued with a barbecue, tattooist, raffle, and more live music headlined by the Monkey Gland Band.

Janice expressed thanks to John Elson and the Adventure Okehampton team, and to everyone who helped in any way or attended the bike ride and music evenings.
