THE Northlew Victory Hall committee has expressed a big thank you to all who helped make their cream tea day last month a great success.

They raised £198 with around 45 people enjoying scones, cream and jam.

The next fundraising event is a curry night on June 14 at 7pm at the hall.

Bookings must be in by June 11 and curries pre-ordered.

The cost is £5.50 for adults and £3.50 for children of 11 and under.

There is also a bar and a raffle and monies raised will go to the Northlew Victory Hall Refurbishment Project.
