FEBRUARY half-term at RHS Garden Rosemoor is full of fun family activities under the banner Amazing Arts — from creating clay birds or tin wind chimes to making a hanging masterpiece with mixed media, there is something to appeal to everyone.
This month is a great time of year to start looking out for birds in your own garden and on Monday February 13 people can create a clay bird, bird's egg or nest and decorate them with bright colours in a clay bird workshop.
On Tuesday February 14 make a beautiful and musical addition for the garden at the tin can wind chimes workshop — learn how to cut aluminium and wood in a safe way to make decorations for the chimes.
An altered art workshop on Thursday February 16 will give the chance to create your own hanging masterpiece using unwanted card and other materials.
Clay birds — Monday February 13, 11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm. Normal garden entry. Drop-in workshop for children 8 to 12 years
Tin can wind chimes — Tuesday February 14, 11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm.
Normal garden entry. Drop-in workshop for children 8 to 12 years.
Altered art — Thursday February 16, 11am to 1pm or 2pm to 4pm. Normal garden entry. Drop-in workshop for children 8 to 12 years.
For all events under 8s are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please wear old clothes.
