NATWEST Bank in Chagford has come out on top after beating more than 1,600 other branches across the UK to win a Platinum Award for customer service.
The dedicated staff were judged on a range of criteria, including friendliness and politeness, their knowledge, appearance of the branch, promptness of service and accuracy of transactions.
The staff expressed thanks to their customers who filled out a questionnaire for the national Customer Driven competition.
Manager at NatWest's Chagford branch Julie Jeffery said: 'When you work so hard as a team to deliver a quality service, it's great to receive a national award from the bank, but it means so much more because it is our customers' comments that have put the branch in the top spot. We can't thank them enough for their positive feedback.'
