AN AWARENESS event for people with dementia and their carers is being held at the Charter Hall on Saturday this week.

The coffee morning is being staged by the Forget me not Café on August 11 from 9am to 12 noon.

Several community organisations will be on hand to offer advice and there will be refreshments and a raffle.

‘The event is a coffee morning to raise awareness of dementia and also to let people know what is available by way of support,’ said organiser Lynn Lane.
